Our Story

Dan & I both have a passion for music.

Our all-time favorite is Country Gospel.

We learned of this common interest that first time we met, backstage, after a concert Dan was playing in.

Since then, we have been pursuing music together,  starting small, yet dreaming big.

We used to talk of some day recording simple songs for Youtube. God has blessed us with not only this dream, but also the opportunity to record 2 albums together, as well as a CD featuring Dan’s signature harmonica- all of which are dreams come true.

We also have been producing simple living room music videos for Facebook the last several months, and I have released my first three singles. Our desire is to point people to the Lord through the songs we sing.

We are thankful for the gift of music He gave us.

Dan

Though Dan can play a variety of instruments (including guitar, bass, electric, piano, and fiddle), he is best known for his harmonica. He started playing at the age of 12, and hasn’t stopped since. He incorporates both straight harp and cross harp into the music he plays. Dan grew up in a singing family, so he has been singing most of his life. At 29, he joined a band for the first time. He has played with multiple bands since. Now he & I get to sing and play music together often.

Amanda

My family often sang together, too. Three of my siblings and I formed a (short-lived) band together at one point. The four of us often stayed up late at night, jamming away, and also attended music camp together a few times. I have been playing piano since I was 12, and like to try out other instruments here and there. However, I prefer singing. One of my greatest interests is writing songs, something I have been doing mostly for the last 10 years. I like to tinker around in the home recording studio, learning from Dan.

We are thankful for our little family.

Being married to a loved musician is one of my greatest dreams come true.

We are thankful for our little family.

God gave us a precious daughter, Anabelle. We are so excited to see her take on a passion for music! It melts our hearts to hear her singing away at the top of her lungs. She also seems to enjoy “playing” the harmonica and piano.

We dream of some day all singing and playing music together!
